The "T" is for Turner
Turner started T-Ball on Saturday. His team is the Rangers and they won by one run over the hated Blue Jays in a high scoring, back and forth affair. Because of Turner's speed and ability to put the ball in play, The coach decided to hit Turner leadoff. The decision payed off. Turner went 3-3 with 3 runs. But the play of the game happened when he was playing third. With the Blue Jays batting - runners on first and second, the batter hit a rocket to third and Turner played it off the short hop, kept the ball in his bare hand and dove to tag third! Just in time. OUT!
Needless to say we got ice-cream after.

The Big Race
We love to listen to music. Lately it's been two songs.
1. Queen "We Will Rock You" (Turner's favorite)
2. Randy Newman "The Big Race" (Gus' favorite from the Cars soundtrack)
When we listen to "The Big Race" the game is to walk during the slow parts and run during the fast parts. Gus can do this ALL DAY and would if we let him. Also, notice mom in the background wiping up a mess on the floor. That Mommy. Always making sure everything looks great!

A Picnic for Mother's Day.
For Mother's Day the boys packed a picnic lunch for Mom and headed to White Rock Lake. We threw the Frisbee®, kicked a ball and checked out the local wildlife which included an egret, a family of ducks, a turtle and something that occasionally made a huge splash underwater. Turner thinks it was a crocodile.
