The New Perot History and Science Museum
The family went to the new Perot History and Nature Museum this past
weekend. It was opening day so there was lots of fanfare as well as
media to show said fanfare. The CBS affiliate had a guy out there who
saw us and wanted to ask us a few questions. They asked me about the new
museum being downtown and I gave a perfectly executed response about
How great it was that "Winspear Opera house, the Nasher Sculpture
gardens, and now Kessler Park were all within walking distance to the
New History and Science Museum". "It's great for Dallas." I said.
"Nailed it" I thought. They'll for sure use that.
Then Turner said he'd like to be interviewed. "So.." said the reporter. "What do you want to see at the museum?"
Turner said something about "gravity" and then we all laughed at how cute it was that a 7 year old was talking about gravity.
I recorded the news that night to see how good I looked on television.
