One of the best parts about living in Dallas is the awesomely awesome State Fair of Texas. We had three months of weather in the triple digits, then three months of rain, but Friday was perfect. It's Texas/OU weekend so it was pretty crowded but that's cool. It adds to the energy. The best new addition to the fair is not the fried butter, It's the DART rail. It took us from the front steps of my office to the front steps of the fair grounds.
The Goose stayed home but Turner had a blast. The fair is one of those rare things (like Christmas) that he "remembers". He remembers the games, corndogs, and of course Big Tex - who we get a picture with every year (see
HERE and
HERE.) Highlights from this year include: Big Tex, Corndogs, Lego Experience (we won the "Build the biggest tower in 2 minutes" competition), Turner dancing, and eating cotton candy.
Anyway, enjoy the video and pictures of Turner (and Mom & Dad) having fun at the great State Fair of Texas.
