We just got back from Missouri where we attended Ashley's little brother's (Lane & Tara) wedding and to spend New Year's with her parents/family. It was swell to see everybody.
I'm usually pretty good about posting stuff but I've been busy ok! Jeesh. I was going to post a bajillion pictures on the blog, but instead decided to put them on my site. So here are a whole new batch of great Tuner pictures! There is an album called "Winter 2006" that has new pictures like this one where Turner sat on his tricylce that he got for Christmas.
The weather has been great so Turner and I have been hanging outside a lot. These are the top five things that Turner likes to do outside:
5. Chase Gurdy
4. Have Dad hold Turner while we chase Gurdy.
3. Pick up sticks to give to Gurdy
2. Hide from Gurdy behind the shed.
1. Crouch and poop in diaper...while pointing at Gurdy
Turner and Ashley went to the Arboretum. Ashley is so pretty. I promise Turner isn't peeing in this picture, but I like the pumpkins and squash in this picture that Ash took. It says "Hey this picture is taken in the fall"
I tried to take Turner to the Arboretum today but got too beaten down within the first 45 seconds I turned around and headed to Grandma's house. Lila and Logan were there. We ate lunch, played football, and walked down to the park. Didn't even have to use my A.K. You can say it was a good day...
Turner got to hang out with his cousin's Lila & Logan on saturday. Turner got to show everyone his favorite show The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Everyone's watching, although Turner's probably the only one enjoying it.
Turner's not a huge fan of getting his haircut. So there's a vouple things that he needs. First (and foremost) is Pups, who Turner is holding. Then you need to sit in Turner's other favorite thing. A car. Then haircuts arn't so bad.
Ashley had the weekend off so we all went to the Dallas Zoo. Turner saw lots of cool animals like lions, birds, monkeys and elephants. He liked the BIG elephants with their big tusks. He also likes songs about elehants, elephants in books, and even elephants on TV. Sitting on a bronze elephant outside the zoo on the otherhand... not so much. This was the one good picture we got of him riding this baby elephant.
Although Turner had fun at the Zoo, it wore him out. We couldn't sing "Hot Potato" enough to keep him awake. You can also see the bruise/abrasion to the right of his eye frm falling against the coffee table.
