At Grandma's
I tried to take Turner to the Arboretum today but got too beaten down within the first 45 seconds I turned around and headed to Grandma's house. Lila and Logan were there. We ate lunch, played football, and walked down to the park. Didn't even have to use my A.K. You can say it was a good day...
What up 'Cuz?
Turner got to hang out with his cousin's Lila & Logan on saturday. Turner got to show everyone his favorite show The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Everyone's watching, although Turner's probably the only one enjoying it.

Tuner got a haircut
Turner's not a huge fan of getting his haircut. So there's a vouple things that he needs. First (and foremost) is Pups, who Turner is holding. Then you need to sit in Turner's other favorite thing. A car. Then haircuts arn't so bad.

Elephants at the Zoo
Ashley had the weekend off so we all went to the Dallas Zoo. Turner saw lots of cool animals like lions, birds, monkeys and elephants. He liked the BIG elephants with their big tusks. He also likes songs about elehants, elephants in books, and even elephants on TV. Sitting on a bronze elephant outside the zoo on the otherhand... not so much. This was the one good picture we got of him riding this baby elephant.
Asleep after the Zoo
Although Turner had fun at the Zoo, it wore him out. We couldn't sing "Hot Potato" enough to keep him awake. You can also see the bruise/abrasion to the right of his eye frm falling against the coffee table.

Reading a book on trucks in Florida
Alright. I promised a bunch of pictures from our trip to Florida this summer and really only posted a few. These are several weeks old but cute nonetheless. Here I am reading a book we got Turner on construction trucks. On the right hand side of the books it has buttons with several rad sound effects. As you can see, Turner is pretty interested in the noisy part of the book.

The backyard
Since the weather is cooling off (if you can call 94 degrees cool), we've been spending more time in the backyard. Picking up sticks, running around the shed and playing with the dogs next door helps pass the time. the big gray one's name is Major. Both dogs are sweet.

Football season is starting.
Probably one of my favorite times in my life was when Turner and I (the men of the family) would watch football of Sunday afternoon. It would be pretty cool outside, chili would be in the crockpot and Turner would be flopping around as a baby baby. I can't wait to have football (much less the Cowboys) to watch with Turner on Sunday's.

Turner at playground
We went to the playground this morning at the park. Of all the things at the playground (slide, swings, drawbridge, etc) it's the steering wheel that most resembles a car. Therefor, this gets the royal treatment from the big guy.
"Car. Car. Car. Caaarrr?...."

Turner's first aquatic adventure
Turner loves the beach. He spends most of the day here playing in the sand then when he gets hot (which he loves to say..."hot") he goes for a dip in the Atlantic.
You can't tell from this picture but Daddy has Chicken Pox. A very mild case and I got them from the big guy who was vacinated a month ago. I should make it.

Ring Family in Florida
I promise we'll have some better beach pictures but right now Daddy has the measles. So any pictures with my shirt off are likley to enduce riots from beach goers everywhere. So for the timebeing we'll just have to settle for pictures in longsleeves.
